Bamboo Farm Adventure

Greetings, fellow adventurers! Recently, we embarked on a weekend getaway at the secluded bamboo farm, where our cozy Tiny Home awaited. One surprise we weren't expecting... the star gazing opportunities due to the rural nature of the area. The night sky was a sight to behold, clear views of the milky way! The Tiny Home's design also boasts floor to ceiling windows so you feel a part of nature and at sunrise we could see and hear tiny little birds in the bamboo from the comfort of the bed. NO need to be in the cold elements to experience top-notch local bird watching.

What made our experience even more enjoyable was the abundance of cut bamboo provided to us. Not only did it make for excellent firewood, but it also served as the perfect cooking tool. We took full advantage of this resource and prepared most of our meals over crackling fires, savouring the delicious flavours only achieved with campfire cooking. We even made some damper for morning tea! 

Beyond its Instagram-worthy charm, the bamboo farm offered us a peaceful escape. We spent delightful moments strolling along the serene 10-minute circuit around the dam. As we embraced the tranquillity, we couldn't resist hopping into the small paddle boat, sharing the waters with friendly ducks. Feeding the ducks and chickens was also on offer, and let's not forget the joy of patting the incredibly amiable goose!

Our time at the bamboo farm was one for the books. From starlit skies and crackling fires to peaceful walks and delightful animal encounters, it was a perfect blend of nature's wonders and heartfelt moments of connection.
