We stayed at this Tiny Home on our first day in Australia and instantly fell in love. It was the most gorgeous little cabin ever and we had the absolute best time! A large comfortable bed with beautiful luxury linen, amazing amenities including an easy to use BBQ, a lovely clean bathroom with hot water and special products, a stunning view of the private lake, multiple seating areas, and even a whole box of games for the evenings. Richard and Angela were the loveliest people we have ever met, so accommodating and kind, and they went absolutely above and beyond for us on my birthday. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further than this Tiny Home in Grose Vale - you will not be disappointed!

Lana’s tiny home was absolutely stunning. I did a solo trip to relax for a few days and this was the perfect place for it. The views are so stunning and the inside of the home was cosy and had everything I needed. Will absolutely be back for a relaxing weekend again.

This Airbnb is not worth staying at. There is an electric fence that they do not warn you about. There are many missing amenities such as coffee pods, salt and pepper (among other things) that are advertised on the listing. It stinks because you are sleeping meters away from piles of horse poo that haven’t been cleaned up. There are people in the house nearby watching you always from the balcony. The tiny Home is a quite dirty and the spa is poorly maintained.

We enjoyed our stay at the tiny home, it is in the perfect location to attend a wedding a Settler’s Rest down the road. Could use with a deep clean around the kitchen, cupboards , widow sills etc and an update to the furniture and decor ( doesn’t match the photos in that it was quite cluttered and didn’t have that ‘luxe’ feel the images portray). Great bathroom and water pressure in shower and space to get ready and it fit a portacot for our baby. Great views out the big windows. Good communication with the host.

Robert, Angela and family were very responsive and accommodating. The place was great! Secluded and peaceful yet close to shops to get necessities. The kitchen had everything which was extra helpful! Would definitely recommend this place. Only suggestion is to have a fire place there so people don’t need to bring one. Loved it! Will stay again!

A great weekend away in a tiny house. Great location in Palmwoods with surrounds towns within 10-15min drive. There are horses and mini horses on the farm who visit daily. It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. A very relaxing weekend away and I look forward to coming back again soon! Highly recommend for a couple or solo traveller.

We stayed here on the weekend for a wedding at settlers rest. Communication with tiny away prior to arrival was great but on arriving at the property, there were alot of things that aren't disclosed on the listing. The front gate you have to padlock every time you go in and out of property. The driveway is so washed out you need a 4WD - we have a dmax so were fine but anything smaller would be hard to get in and out. The tiny house itself was disgusting. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months, the build up of dust around the place including under the bed and the power boards was so thick we didn't touch it, there was a dirty toothbrush in the bathroom, blinds were broken, dirty kitchen appliances and bbq that we didn't bother touching, hair on the sheets. Absolutely disgusting. There was also caravans set up near the tinyhome - so not as secluded as advertised. Not worth the price, you would be better of camping in a swag.

Loved this place!! the view was so amazing and the whole property was picturesque. We absolutely loved feeding the donkeys and seeing all the animals roaming. Vicki was very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxed, quiet place to stay.

This was a beautiful introduction to a tiny home experience, it was well kept and had a beautiful overlook of the property. Jesse messaged the morning of to give us a heads up of water over the path to the tiny home, so when we entered the property it was expected and not surprised. The place was kept clean and clear instructions for the use of the ECO toilet. 10 mins from Daylesford, so very easy and convenient to head into town! Highly recommend for a peaceful weekend away!

As the listing say, a dam good view. It was really nice to wake up to a view like this! Vicki and her husband were very nice and quick to help us when we had some issues even though it was dark and cold outside. They also very kindly set up our firewood area before we came over, appreciate them :) Would definitely recommend others and would make a trip back here again if I am back at this area.

Great private little space tucked away on a beautiful flower farm just outside Kuranda. Was perfect for our needs and great value for the location and price. Biannka & Kate were responsive and provided a quick and easy run through the facilities with a few local recommendations. All in all very pleased with our stay - would definitely come back if we returned to Kuranda.

My husband and I came here for a night away (first time we’d been away together alone in over 2 years since our son was born) and it was the perfect little spot to reconnect as a couple. It was a massive exhale arriving at Tiny away, the views are incredible and the host was super helpful and accommodating to our requests. We absolutely loved it and would recommend to anyone wanting a night to just sit and relax and take it all in 🥰

The location is beautiful, the tiny home experience is nice and it’s easy to let yourself in and let yourself out. The communication between tiny away is good they are responsive but they direct you to also text the host/owner of the home and it just feels excessive. Plus the host was non responsive to comms. 2 hours late to acknowledge after a second text and gave a thumbs up, then no reply to other comms. The place needs its floors replaced, the cutlery and utensils were dirty and the pots and pans and cupboards weren’t well maintained. It was fine but for the price you’d expect a bit more consideration. At the end just felt like someone wanted your money

Our weekend at the tiny house was amazing! Only negatives were there was no hot water Friday night and was told there was a coffee plunger provided and there wasn’t.

Easy to find and a nice property

From the photos and description we were expecting a tiny secluded getaway but the tiny house was just metres from the host's residence. The host was lovely and we are grateful for that but we just needed a little bit more space and privacy - a tiny house with no one around.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful little tiny home. The property was beautiful, with a lovely dam and farm animals surrounding it, making it the perfect place to relax. It was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy thanks to the great air conditioning, and had everything we needed, from utensils and plates to excellent cooking facilities. The fire pit and BBQ were a great touch, and our dog loved exploring the property with us. We’d happily stay again!

We had a lovely stay for our anniversary, and so happy our corgi could enjoy it with us! The place was spotless and had thoughtful touches, such as a thick blanket for outdoors, long tie out and dog bowl. The surrounds are beautiful and we felt like we had our own little section of Eden 😊 would recommend for a peaceful winter getaway!

This Tiny home was very lovely and perfect for the use we had intended. We’re quite active people and enjoy being out and about and just coming back for a quick nap or to wind down and sleep at night. We had reunited in Cairns after working away, this tiny home was nice and is enough but be warned it really is tiny! One suitcase on the ground and it was in our way to get on the bed or walk around. The amenities are basic but good enough, the hot water lasts long enough. Our big down side is the local town completely shuts down after 6pm. This is normal but take it as a warning for us Sydney and Melbourne folk. We were disorganised one night and drove around looking for food and had to drive 30minute back down into Cairns. Additionally the road closing at 9pm is a little annoying, as discussed we went down into Cairns the next night but quickly realised we had to rush home or be stuck out until the road opens back up at 12am. Overal it was a pleas t stay

Location was great for activities nearby like bilpin and the hawkesbury river! The little caravan beside the lake was very picturesque and the views every morning were fantastic. We knew about the eco toilet before arriving, but unfortunately it had a persistent smell despite using air fresheners. It was also a shame that the key was stuck in the lock, which meant we couldn’t lock the door for the rest of our stay. That said, the owners notified us immediately when it happened and kept us informed, which we appreciated.

Great location, very responsive hosts and lovely time

Great location! Not too far from Kurrajong and North Richmond - so buying food was only a 5-10 minute drive away. You get to pass by the Inja labradoodles everytime you leave/come in so it was super cute! The tiny home was extremely clean and the hosts were so lovely and helpful.

Place was lovely and a great location surrounded by horses. A couple of things that affected our stay. - pipes froze overnight and was unable to flush the toilet/ have a shower or utilise the sink. Being in a location where you would typically go out for lunch or wineries we needed to have a shower. Toilet was an issue as there was no other amenities. - hot water ran out after 30 seconds, understandable need to be switched over but would assume this would of been checked before hand. - dishes in cupboard, high surfaces were not cleaned with dust , webs and ants. Although this affected our experience the location and outside of the home, the spa , fire and environment was beautiful

I think it is overpriced for what it is. The location and ambience of the surroundings was great. I've stayed at many tiny houses and they felt more homey than this. While the comms was great, the electric cooler could not be switched on. We had our own cooler and it was only for one night so we couldn't be bothered to reach out to the host. The pan was very rusty and unfortunately, the indoor fireplace was not working well for a cold night. We tried different ways to keep the heat going but it failed. There were instructions but they might be unclear or the fireplace was faulty which in that case the host should have just left the heater in the house. The water pressure was good for a five minute shower before it became bad. Again, location and peacefulness was amazing but the amenities in the house could have been better.

It was great to stay. But the bedsheets were a bit smelly. Overall, had a great time there, would love to come back again soon!

My boyfriend had flowers delivered as a surprise, and the host was incredibly accommodating by placing them in the tiny house before we arrived. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. Highly recommend!

Great little home to stay for the weekend. Our horse was super responsive and the place was nice clean and tidy.

Breathtaking views, felt very private and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. The tiny home itself needs a little bit of maintenance e.g floorboards. The compost toilet didn’t have a bad smell which we were pleased about. Really enjoyed our first tiny home experience.

Unfortunately, this stay was not what we expected. We booked this tiny house for 2 nights and 3 days, hoping for a calm, secluded, and private getaway. When we arrived, we found people working directly behind the tiny house in the nearby shed and winery area. The shed is less than 5 metres from the bathroom, and people were regularly walking and working nearby. The rear blinds did not fully cover the windows, leaving visible gaps even when closed. From outside, it was clearly possible to see inside the tiny house, including the bed area, which made us feel very uncomfortable and offered very little privacy. There was also considerable noise from the working area, so we decided to leave shortly after arriving without using the accommodation. Despite not staying, we received less than a 50% refund. Vicki was kind and professional with the process. However, we believe the listing should more accurately reflect the property’s surroundings and level of privacy for future guests.

An amazing little getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The host was friendly and welcoming, and the property was lovely, with plenty of adorable dogs around. Firewood was also provided, which was perfect for the cold winter nights. I would highly recommend this place to couples looking for a peaceful escape from their busy lifestyle.

We had a great stay at the Kookaburra Tiny Home. Cath and John were wonderful hosts, sharing great tips about the area local restaurants. The tiny home was perfect, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

it's unfortunate that this stay fell well below our expectations. the photos are clearly very old from when I assume the tiny home was brand new. my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and booked this tiny home thinking it would be cosy glamping type experience. the fenced area was unkempt and felt akin to a trailer park. the door mat is a carpet sample that was completely drenched, so there was no way to not get the floor wet inside as it was far too cold to take off your shoes. the flooring is in a state of disrepair which is really uninviting, and the cooking equipment and utensils feel like the old stuff that you'd throw away (not even donate). there is no use of space that you'd expect from a tiny home; nowhere to put your things except the small fold out table that didn't help much. shelves would've made things more comfortable. no fire wood or fire starters were supplied, the coffee sachets expired in 2024 and the compost toilet felt too full. I'm sorry :(

We stayed at this Tiny Away property while attending a wedding at Settlers Rest. I’d only recommend this accommodation if you’re staying for a minimum of two nights - the night before and the night of the wedding - as it makes the logistics much more manageable. We were grateful to be accommodated with an early check-in so we could set up our baby’s bassinet before leaving for the wedding. However, the experience was made stressful due to miscommunication between the Tiny Away team and the host, Sharryn, regarding the early check-in arrangements. If coming for a staycation, you will enjoy the scenery and peacefulness. It’s a great property for switching off and relaxing. It’s worth noting that access to the property is quite challenging. You should arrive in daylight and would need a vehicle with high clearance, we drove a Toyota 79 Series Land Cruiser and that was put to good use navigating the access track.

There are not enough words to describe how incredible this place is. The movie under the stars, which the hosts went above and beyond for us with a little bit of rain they supplied us with umbrellas, and hot blankets, plus the yummy snacks. Then the baths WOWEEEE it was AMAZING. The sky cleared up and conditions ended up being perfect for them, we were so relaxed My partner even fell asleep 😂. The breakfast being delivered was another bonus, just delicious! We will be thinking about this place for a long time. Thanks for a fantastic stay 😍

Spent a weekend here, comfy bed, high pressure shower. Basic kitchen equipment but everything you’ll need for a weekend away. As advertised… a tiny home. No where to unpack, no comfy chairs to relax in, super glad we had our camping chairs to relax in by the fire pit. Thank goodness it wasn’t raining so we could chill out in the outside area. Would be a bit uncomfortable if only had the tiny house to hang out in the whole time. The toilet…… well, it’s exactly as stated in the instructions. Make sure you don’t push that water button for too long. It ran out of space the night before our departure (despite following the instructions) so had to drive to Wollombi to use their facilities. But, it was a lovely 2 days, very peaceful and sat by the fire pit at night watching the moon rise, watching wallabies in the morning and being close to lovely Wollombi made for a special weekend, so thank you.

Had a wonderful time on a brief get away. Next time will plan to stay longer

Greg was an awesome, friendly and kind host and the property was just what my daughter and I expected. Cosy with creature comforts, but remote and the perfect place to relax. I would highly recommend.

Neat and interesting stay, the concept is worth a try especially given the awesome bush surrounds. Our car struggled with the dirt road entry and the eco toliet was commendable but we found it awkward to adjust to. One for the adventurous!

it was a great day and the location was perfect unfortunately our car couldn’t get down to the bottom lot so there were a lot of up-and-down downhill stairs which were slippery when wet but other than that we enjoyed ourselves

I stayed at Michael’s place recently. At first, I was expecting a bit more, as the accommodation is quite basic and could benefit from some renovations and extra care. The water comes from the lake, so I’d recommend bringing drinking water for cooking and consumption. That said, after speaking with Michael and learning about all the work he is personally putting into the property, I gained a better appreciation for the place. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the peace and quiet, had a campfire, played some games, and Michael kindly lent us a kayak the next day. The property has a lot of potential, and with a few more improvements and personal touches, it could become a fantastic getaway.

We had a lovely weekend away at this tiny home! The perfect space to get away and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We were always accompanied by the two small ponies and had lots of cuddles with them. Really comfortable, cute little air bnb. We had really lovely cool weather which let us enjoy some fires under the stars each night! Would absolutely recommend, we saw John heaps around the property and he made our stay top notch. Thank you for having us!

The area of the tiny home is quite lovely - it was close to Bipin which had the grumpy baker that was quite good. Some maintenance on the tiny home would be recommended. The bed was very creaky; as a tosser/turner i kept waking up to the sound of the bed. However, everything else was great. Shower and amenities were as described. Views were lovely.

We had the most amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! The location was perfect and in such a great area. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, and they really made our trip even more special. The animals were absolutely adorable and such a lovely addition to the experience.
