A Little Magic

A little magic goes a long way on Magic Mountain. After a short inland drive from Shoalhaven, you are treated to the special and mystical experience of Little Magic on Magic Mountain. A permaculture farm in the making, Magic Mountain is set on lush and spiritual green land. Charles and Suzanne are wonderful hosts and will happily teach you all about their permaculture ambitions and also the spiritual nature of the land the tiny home is placed on. As you explore the grounds of the tiny home, you'll get a sense of freedom and mysticism. The site is said to be traditional Aboriginal land, special due to its height and proximity to the ocean. Based on Charles and Suze's instructions, I set off at sunrise to explore the find the natural creek. As the sun hit the dewy ridge, I was treated to beautiful tranquility and lots of wildlife including birds, chickens, and wallabies. Berry is a small, quaint Australian village in the Shoalhaven region of the NSW South Coast. It's a quintessential Aussie village, boasting some incredibly cute and quirky shops and eateries. The most famous of them all - and for good reason - is the Berry donut van. Queues are long so either arrive early or late, for these warm, sugared rings of bliss.If natural produce is more your thing, The Berry Markets are held on the first Sunday of every month that should meet your organic and fantastic needs. One of my favourite things about Berry and its neighboring towns and villages is its proximity to the coast. Just 15-20 minutes from Magic Mountain will land you at a quiet, pristine beach, ready to explore. The South Coast boasts arguably one of NSW's most beautiful scenic drives as you head back up to Sydney so make sure you leave plenty of time to take the long drive home after your beautiful weekend in with Charles and Suze...
