THE SPACE
Summer Lea 2 by Tiny Away is a peaceful farm stay set on 2.5 acres of open grasslands and natural forest, just 59 minutes from Mount Buller. Enjoy the company of native wildlife like kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, and birdlife.

Our tiny house is close to Goughs Bay and Lake Eildon camping. The area also features Mansfield Golf Club, offering stunning views, and Delatite Wines for exceptional local tastings. Howes Creek offers lakes, mountains, waterfalls, and endless natural beauty.

It's a cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home,"Summer Lea 1," available with 24 hours' notice.

LOCATIONS
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surrounding areas, which include an outdoor open fire and their own private space. For assistance, please message or call your land host before approaching the main residence. Restricted Access: The main house and private shed are off-limits without prior permission from the land host. - Firewood costs $35 per wheelbarrow load. Kindling is abundant on the property and you are encouraged to gather what you require during your stay. All pre-orders and activities listed above must be prearranged with land host 24 hrs before arrival for a smooth check-in. Thank you.
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Smoking is allowed outdoors only on the property - Reasonable reception available through Aussie Broadband WiFi - Mobile reception is good for Telstra and average signal for Optus and Vodafone - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available but may be limited or intermittent due to the property's location. Connection speed and availability cannot be guaranteed. - Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival. Important note: - No BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits during a total fire ban - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
Summer Lea 2 by Tiny Away is a peaceful tiny house in Howes Creek, ideal for a getaway near Mount Buller, wineries, and outdoor adventures. Mansfield is just 15 minutes away, offering restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets, while Delatite Wines serves local wines and delicious dishes with stunning Mt Buller views. The area offers plenty to explore, from fishing and water fun at Goughs Bay on Lake Eildon to a round of golf at Mansfield Golf Club. Enjoy wine tasting at King Valley, snow sports at Mount Buller, or a family-friendly visit to Mansfield Zoo, open year-round—rain or shine. If you’re using public transport, a winter bus runs to and from Mt Buller. Ski hire is available on and off the mountain. Please contact your land host for guidance on exploring the area.
