Cathedral Views by Tiny Away is tucked away in the tranquil rural town of Buxton, just an hour from Melbourne and a short 10-minute drive to Marysville, Victoria. From there, adventure awaits in the Yarra Ranges National Park, where you’ll find lush rainforests, scenic lookouts, and plenty of hiking and cycling trails.

Don’t miss nearby gems like Steavenson Falls for breathtaking views or Lake Mountain Alpine Resort for some fun in the snow.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny house with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there may be wildlife noise due to the nature of the property. For light sleepers, we recommend bringing their earplugs.

Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and its surroundings, except for our private residence, which has restricted access. The tiny house is also close to the dam.
- Free firewood - Free potable water - Electric BBQ Grill is available - Tiny house is near the dam - We have 1 dog on the property - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas - Telstra and Optus have good signals and the rest have no signal - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property. - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban period - For guest safety, this property is not suitable for children — our tiny house sits just 15 meters from an open dam. - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
